I am Pramod Saha, an award-winning photographer and filmmaker with over 8 years of diverse experience across the media and visual communication industries. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of leading high-impact projects for renowned national and international organizations such as Microsoft, IKEA, the Government of Telangana, TCS, Teach For India, and many more.
Currently, I am a PhD scholar and hold a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Film and Television Production from the prestigious Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC). My academic foundation began with a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications, which eventually led me to pursue my passion for visual storytelling.
Professionally, my path took shape across various parts of India, where I worked in multiple creative capacities — starting as a freelance photographer and cinematographer, and later transitioning into the role of a producer at Raasta Studios, Hyderabad. This evolution from photography to cinematography, and then into production, was a natural progression — a deeper application of visual principles I had mastered behind the lens.
With a strong command over photography, cinematography, and video editing, I’ve successfully led numerous creative campaigns and branded content productions. My approach combines artistic vision with technical expertise, making me adept at handling diverse shoots across dynamic scenarios.
In addition to my work in the industry, I am deeply passionate about teaching. For the past one and a half years, I’ve been serving as the Program Coordinator and Senior Faculty for the Visual Communication Department at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, as a full-time employee of Seamedu. I have also taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at the School of Communications, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, offering courses in Photography, Cinematography, Video Editing, and Filmmaking.
My mission is to craft compelling stories through visuals and to inspire a new generation of storytellers to do the same. I believe every frame holds the power to engage, move, and create lasting impact.
